Popular New Jersey soprano Susan Santiglia returns to the Garden State to perform a special program including favorite Italian and Spanish songs and arias at the Elizabeth Public Library.

"I'm delighted to be singing a recital again here in New Jersey," said Ms. Santiglia. "In addition to wonderful operas, many Italian composers also composed beautiful songs. The entire first half of this program will be dedicated to some of my favorite songs by Vincenzo Bellini and Giuseppe Verdi, along with a Verdi aria from I vespri siciliani."

The second half of the program will include Spanish music as well. "I love discovering and performing Spanish music!" Ms. Santiglia continued. "It's a wonderful contrast in style to the Italian songs."

Praised as a singer who "performed thrillingly," Susan Santiglia made her operatic debut with the New Jersey State Opera in Carmen at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center... A busy recitalist, she made her recital debut at New York's Town Hall, where she performed as recipient of the National Coalition of Italian American Association's Concert Artist Award.
